  1. I am surprised ya’ll didn’t pronounce or mention lezy.com and its both negative and positive connotations. It’s maybe positive if you are a proud livin’ la vida loca “lesbian” or derogatory if you aren’t a lesbian.

  2. YamadaMedia says:

Great and informative show everyone. Thanks for continuing with DomainSherpa! :)

I’m having issues streaming episodes from podcasting apps. Also I’ve noticed that I can’t download older MP3 shows.

I’m sure all of you have lots of other things to think about, but any plans to look into these issues?

    1. DomainSherpa says:

Glad you’re enjoying the show! Let’s talk about the MP3 issues- I’ll send you an email. Thanks!

  3. tldboss says:

Thanks Tess, Drew, Shane and Ammar for a great show.

    Appreciate the quality information shared.

  4. Platey says:

    Looking at

    Vrai dot conn

Its probably worth much more because the ar alternative cant be bought unless a buyer bought the company

As arai is a very valuable company

Eh arai motorcycle helmets and already a huge global brand

So vrai is worth a lot of dough

    1. DomainSherpa says:

OMG hilarious Adam! You looking for a gig as our producer- you’re hired!!

  6. Drew, Ammar, Tess and Shane

I always enjoy watching the shows and learning. Thanks for taking the time to review some of my names. I appreciate the insight. I can always count on Sherpa to teach me new information about domains and the industry. Much appreciated.

    1. Really appreciate you submitting your names for the review! Good luck with the sale!

      1. Thanks, I appreciate it Drew. I enjoy watching all the shows. I also like hearing the pros and cons of my personal names. It opens my eyes to what names I should be buying etc.

I appreciate the shout out of my auction. Its not all of my names but about 70%. I tried to price it fair. I am getting a ton of emails about selling some individually too. If you feel just one of the names has a possibility of a sale of $50k plus, maybe my buy now price of $125k isn’t that bad for all 914 names. Great investment lot for someone. Its only 20 BTC :)

    2. DomainSherpa says:

Christian, you’re a smart guy and always a pleasure to work with. Can’t wait to see where domains take you!

  7. slader23 says:

    Digital Cash—->DASH.

  8. Shut.com would be a huge upgrade to MouthShut.com. They get roughly 4 million monthly visits.

    1. Thanks for the tip!

  9. Saro says:

The end of this interview was too funny!

    Great insights guys as always..

@Shane you can’t blame Tess for the Urbana pronunciation, Nirvana set the benchmark on how to pronounce similar ending names haha

    1. Shane says:

Everyone butchers the name. Of course the sister city Champaign gets spelled Champagne every time as well. I just say Chicago to make it easier

      1. Saro says:

Since I was very young, for me Chicago Illinois has always been associated with Scruff McGruff the Crime Dog with the line at the end to get the pamphlet with “Chicago Illinois, 60652” , he was after every cartoon Saturday mornings haha

    2. DomainSherpa says:

Ha Saro, you’re right about Nirvana/Urbana! It was a super fun show.

  10. nuno says:

    Hi domain sherpa.

Got to say this show and the one with Michael Cyger were my favorites, never laught so much watching a domain sherpa video.

Tess and Drew your doing great work i loved when Michael Cyger was running domain sherpa but your taking good care of is legacy.

@Tess just wan’t inform you that the sponser ads on the video aren’t running and maybe a bit of personal information was shown on this video nothing out of this world but just to give you a heads up.

Drew is not so often i see my country “Portugal” get mention on domain sherpa, around May the good weather will start to come back (sunny and hot) and there is very beautiful places, with great culture and history i think you will like it. I live near Lisbon and go there often i also think you will like it there.

Good luck with all the moving and have a nice trip.

All the best to the domain sherpa network.

    1. DomainSherpa says:

Thanks Nuno! You were on of our very first viewers of this episode. Got everything fixed, but all our transitions (changing owners, producers, hosting providers, SSLs, etc) keep finding little things that get mixed up. But we’re keeping the content top notch so everything else will fall into place soon enough :)

  11. Ategy.com says:

Vrai can also translate into “True” in French .. where I think it certainly could have value (relative to French domains which are obviously lower than English). Specifically as privacy/authenticity/accuracy/verification issues become more and more important going forward.

FYI .. King in French is Roi (not rai)

You probably felt familiar with BarTab and a few other of Christian’s names as they were part of the conversation in his Flips interviews .. good episodes for those who missed them:

    https://domainsherpa.com/christian-calvin-flips/
    https://domainsherpa.com/christian-calvin-2016-update/

    1. Ategy.com says:

Ooops .. In the show they said true … I meant “vrai” in French could also translate into “real”. And Ammar pronounced it correctly! ;)

      1. Ammar says:

I’m glad all those years of French class paid off ;-)

    2. DomainSherpa says:

Thanks Ategy, you are our resident expert, even supplying the links! <3
