  1. Nuno says:

And regarding the .io market, I wrote before about my story on how I submitted Video.io to T.R.A.F.F.I.C. (2007) and at Moniker’s request they told me to put a reserve of $400 but would surely sell for a lot more. I was so naive that accepted that… it sold for $400. Never again I gave such control over my assets.

    1. Wow.. $400 for that name hurts, especially seeing what the market looks like now. That’s an unfortunate yet common experience in the domain business – expensive lessons. ;-) Thanks for sharing, Nuno!

      1. Nuno says:

It was very different market back then, but still for sure I would never sell that low.
I was just too excited to be part of T.R.A.F.F.I.C. … No more low/no reserve for me ever since.
        You are welcome :)

  2. Nuno says:

50k for cobrand.com was a really good deal for the buyer. I have the .net for a long time and always surprised me how little traction such a great brand attracts :(
